Plena’s partial hospitalization program (weekdays 8:30 am - 3:30 pm) and intensive outpatient program (weekdays 3:30-5:30 pm) services children and adolescents (ages 7 to 16) who: Struggle to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, or mood dysregulation, Experience challenges with social-emotional concerns, Engage in self-injurious behaviors, Refuse to attend school, and/or have difficulty with attention and focus.
In order to provide our patients and families with excellent clinical care, our treatment team utilizes innovative and evidence-based interventions tailored to your child and family. Our approach aims to empower your child to become an active participant in managing their symptoms in the service of living their fullest life. Plena’s treatment team strives to create an atmosphere of open communication and collaboration with parents and guardians regarding your child’s diagnosis, medication recommendations, and symptom management. Plena provides parents and guardians with skills and information that enhance your ability to effectively provide healthy boundaries and emotional support to your child.
Prior to transitioning out of treatment, the clinical team collaborates with you and your child to ensure the creation of an individualized aftercare treatment plan that considers ongoing therapeutic interventions, school support, and medication management that will meet the distinctive needs of your family. Plena’s team consists of a board-certified child and adolescent psychiatrist, licensed clinical psychologist, licensed clinical social workers, licensed educational specialist, and a recreation specialist.
