Mountain Valley Treatment Center for Adolescents Struggling with Anxiety Disorders - (Inpatient) Plainfield, NH

Mountain Valley Treatment Center, with campuses in beautiful Pike and Plainfield, NH, offers empirically supported clinical care and an experiential approach to treating 13 to 20 year olds presenting with school and social avoidance due to generalized anxiety, social anxiety, specific phobias, panic disorder, separation anxiety, selective mutism and obsessive-compulsive disorders, including related disordered eating. We are an intensive, short-term, residential program grounded in Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and focusing specifically on Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), in a supportive, co-educational environment. Recognizing that medication management and psychiatry can play an important role in the treatment of anxiety, we partner with Hanover Psychiatry, a comprehensive psychiatry and psychological assessment practice of Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center and Geisel School of Medicine, to offer psychiatric services as well as comprehensive psychological assessments.
